I have never been one to actually make a new years resolution. I find that it is better to make "goals" - probably the same thing but goals sound better than resolution to me. (haha)
So in thinking about my goals I have a lot that I would like to accomplish... here are a few.
1. Spend a little more time doing some kind of physical activity. I always say I'm NOT joining a gym and I really truly will not but I just need to do something that will raise my heart rate.
2. Play with the kids as much as possible. I tend to get in a rut of doing things about the house (cleaning, cooking, folding clothes, etc.) and sometimes find myself not enjoying this stage of playing. So, I will play with the kids more!
3. Learn to cook something new- something that is quick and easy that we all like. (I'm counting on Lori to keep posting new recipes!) Plus, just general cooking improvements.
4. Visit with family and friends more often. We all get so busy and months go by so quickly but this year I am determined to have more "play dates".
5. Actually watch my shows that we record instead of just recording them week after week. :)
6. Stay healthy- physically, mentally, and over all general healthy.
I guess we will see how these "goals" do for the first month. So far, today has been a good start - I have played restaurant with both kids and we are about to go on a bike ride. So,
