A morning at the Zoo

We went to the zoo the other morning and it was nice until it got hot! The monkeys were out and active plus Carter got to see the snakes that he has been wanting to see for awhile. We saw an elephant bath and Kara got to ride the merry-go-round. We ended the morning with making an appointment for Carter and his sore throat!

A long rewind

It has been a very long time since I posted. With our laptop on the fritz it is not as easy to blog about the life in and out of the Hambrick household. :) So, here goes...
Birthday Girl Kara
She had a flip flop theme party this year and it was hot as the month of May usually is! We did sand art, colored flip flop frames, and of course cake and ice cream.

Then, the following weekend it was Mother's Day and it felt like Mother's Day weekend. We took Walter's mom out on Friday and then Sunday was breakfast with my mom and then relaxing and dinner later. As I always say "I wouldn't be a mother without my two children" so I am very blessed and thankful to have both of them.

Kara also participated in a Klein Cheer Clinic and I think in two more years she will "get" more of the idea. But, she got a cute shirt and a fun bow that matches. Plus, she now calls Carly Rae Jepsen- Call Me Maybe her cheer song.
