Where did September go??

It has been an fast September! Not much on the schedule but we stayed busy. Carter and Kara have been playing outside often. Football is the new game we like to play. I guess it is because that is the "season". One afternoon they thought it would be fun to play in the mud or rather make mud in the backyard. It was a mess, but very Fun! The new firestation had the dedication a few weekends ago and we stopped and toured that, as well as saw the first firetruck that started the station back in 1972. Pretty cool.

Yesterday we went to Lowe's for the build and grow. They were making a firetruck. Bitty got to go with Kara too! And a trip to Lowe's would not be complete without a ride on a tractor (aka- riding lawn mower!).

Today we are watching football games and having football Oreos~

Labor Day

Well, this past weekend was a great one! We didn't do anything fun and exciting but we just did what came to mind or what we wanted and it was fun and relaxing. Carter had a good friend come over to play on Saturday morning. Kara had a birthday party in the afternoon. Sunday we slept in since we went to Saturday night church, which was nice. Then, it was grocery store and more playing. It was great to have an extra day off of school and of course we just hung out and relaxed. It was fantastic!!

I am so thankful to have a little cooler air temperature! Even Carter made a comment about how nice it was outside to play. Heres to a great weekend and hopefully more to follow.
