Two wheeler and VBS

Kara told me last Saturday that she wanted her training wheels off. So, without much second thought we took them off and there I was running up and down the street (sweating) four times. She is doing pretty good and learning to balance more when she comes to a stop.

The kids went to VBS at Trinity again this year and seemed to enjoy it. Although, today when I went to drop off Kara she refused to go in! But, a successful week of learning more about Jesus and of course learning new song, which we love!
 Love these two!

Have a great weekend! I hope to update more than every month or so. :)

Bluebell Creamery and other summer stuff

I am going to be "back in the blogging world" soon. Our laptop finally called it quits and we had to get a new computer so I am attempting to learn the new things and figure out the new blog ways. :)
The first week in June after getting back from Seaworld/San Antonio we took a morning trip to the Bluebell Creamery with my sister and cousins. It always amazes me to learn something new and its even better when it is about something I like to enjoy- ice cream!

Last week we drove to the Children's Museum for the afternoon and the kids did a few different things. It was fun but I don't think my kids enjoyed it as much as the Woodlands Children's museum. They did like the rock wall though.

Seaworld and San Antonio

The first weekend out of school we didn't waste any time when we headed to San Antonio and Sea World. We drove up early on Sunday morning and spent the day at Sea World. We fed the dolphins, Sea lions and saw all the shows. I loved the dolphins and beluga whales the best. Kara loved "all of it" and Carter loved riding the boat ride. We did get soaking wet on a tube ride which upset Kara for about  30 minutes because she didn't like being wet with wet socks, wet underwear, etc. Carter LOVED it!
We headed to San Antonio Riverwalk and stayed for three days doing some touring; such as the Alamo, riverboat ride, the outdoor market, but most of the time was spent swimming in the hotel roof top pool.

Kindergarten awards and last day of school

Kindergarten has come to an end and Carter earned a few awards but the biggest reward was he learned so much! :)
My little jogger is following in his mommy's footsteps as earning the Top Jogger in Kindergarten award running 32 1/4 miles! Plus the others with Perfect Attendance, No Tardies, and a Gold Medal for Reading.
Crazy that he is already a first grader!

Field day was fun too for Carter. His favorite game was the water tag and the big earth ball.
