Christmas eve and Santa

Once again my house looks like a toy store. We went to the early service again this year ( I think next year we will try to go to the later service again) and then headed over to my moms for the traditional Swedish christmas eve dinner and opening presents. Carter got his weed wacker that he has wanted since August! Along with many other great things. Kara got some clothes (which she insisted on putting all of them on when she opened something she could wear) and some other fun things.
Christmas morning Carter checked to see if Santa drank the hot chocolate he left instead of milk (he said he thought Santa might like that because it was cold). And the fun began! Both kids got so many fun things and we have been playing with them since.
I have one more week off and Walter took this week off too so it will be nice to lay around in our jammies (we did that today) and play with the new toys.
The decorations are down and the house feels and looks "empty" but I told Carter (who keeps asking if Christmas is over) that we will be moving onto the New year and then Valentine's day.
