Summer time!

Today marks the first official day of summer vacation. We had a t-ball game this morning and even though it was at 8:30 in the morning - it felt like it was 99* outside. We went to the fountains at Market Street, rode the trolley to the mall to eat a little lunch, and then headed home to take a little nap. In all of this we made a decision not to go to Alabama. We called and they told us they have closed the water, but the beach and pools are still open. Well, we can swim here and it just won't be worth the drive, etc. to not get in the water and play in the sand. SO... we are going to skip that this year and just hang around. In other words, I'm Bummed.
