It's been awhile

I don't really have a reason why I haven't blog since the beginning of September except things have been busy! School is in full swing, Carter has joined Cubscouts and that seems to occupy our time, and then just the day to day routines. Walter decided to become the Den Leader for Carter and I am trying to keep that together. Kara LOVES school. She wishes she could go everyday, which brings some unhappy days when she realizes it is not a school day. :(

Blessing of the pets- the kids sang and then Gordy got a blessing from our Pastor. It was a fun day. :)

 

Our Den was able to go and see Ponderosa Fire Department one evening. It was good information and fun too.

The following weekend we had a girls lunch and shopping day morning at the new Houston Location of American Girl. It was a bit overwhelming to see all the baby things, dolls, etc. but it was fun for Kara, Natalie, both moms and Grandma too.

 This weekend the cubscouts were suppose to go on an overnight campout, but it was cancelled so...
we camped in the backyard! The temperature was cool and bug free. It was fun! Gordy even stayed until midnight and then he wanted to go inside. :)
