In my friend's neighborhood there was a house that was decorated like the Griswald's on National Lampoon Christmas Vacation. So, one night we drove by just to see it for ourself. :) It was pretty bright!
Kara class had a Christmas party and I ended up taking the day off because she also had early release. They did two crafts (an ornament with their picture in it and then a reindeer one too), sang a few songs for us, exchanged books, and then had lunch too.
Carter finally lost his first tooth! He started wiggling it on December 1st and by the 20th it was out! A gold dollar coin is what the tooth fairy left along with some of her "dust" silver sprinkles.
Carter's Christmas party was quiet to others compared in the past. They also did a craft of a picture frame, ate a cookie, and of course played games.

Christmas morning
Kara got just what she asked Santa for: An American Girl! It is the one that looks like her and she named her Bella. Carter got an Air Hockey table and that was a surprise because he had asked for converse tennis shoes, but he did get another pair.
We bought Walter an outside cooler which was a surprise for him too.
We have spent days playing and doing Bella's hair, playing Dance Wii ALOT! and of course packing up the Christmas decor.
