First day of Disney and we filled it with fun, smiles, and laughter. We left early from Houston and then after checking into the resort we went to Downtown Disney and Magic Kingdom.
The second day we went to Animal Kingdom in the morning and saw a few characters, rode a few rides, and had more fun!
That night Carter dressed like a pirate and Kara got to dress like a princess. We all ate at Cinderella's castle and again got to meet more characters- actually 4 princesses.
The third day was New Year's Eve and we went to Hollywood Studios for the entire day. We had fireworks that night and then stayed out late, but didn't make it until midnight.
Carter got to go to Jedi training which was pretty fun and cool for him.
The Fourth day we were up again and eating breakfast with Mickey and his friends.
The Fifth day we slept in and around lunch time headed to Epcot. The kids didn't seem to care too much for this park since it doesn't have too many rides but it was still fun. We left around dinner time and went back to Animal Kingdom to see the Lion King show and to eat at The Rainforest Cafe. (one of their favorites!)
The last day we were up again early and eating breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and friends. We said this was the day to ride our favorites. So, we rode the run away train, Space Mountain (twice) and whatever we found to be short and fun!
It was a great trip and we did ALOT in 6 days! The clothes are washed and put away (finally) and we are now gearing up for the week of school that lies ahead.
